Why can't I access my D2L Brightspace course?

Students will be able to login to D2L Brightspace 55 days before the semester starts but not access their courses until the first day of the semester unless otherwise specified by the instructor. Students will not be able to see their D2L Brightspace courses listed until the instructor makes the courses active.

  • Newly registered students will be enrolled into D2L Brightspace courses 55 days before the semester starts, at which time they will login to D2L Brightspace using their StarID and StarID password.
  • Students that last enrolled in a semester course prior to Spring 2013 will continue to login to D2L using their TechID until they register for a current semester course.
